The My Night Sky Sweater is a beginner-friendly project worked in a combination of DROPS Melody and two strands of DROPS Kid-Silk. This blend creates an incredibly airy look with a beautiful play of colors in the yarn.
The sweater is worked top-down, allowing you to easily try it on as you go and adjust the length perfectly to your body. Using large 10 mm (US 15) needles makes this a fast project where you see results immediately.
The design is a timeless classic with the body and sleeves in stockinette stitch, framed by rustic garter stitch edges. With a positive ease of 6–12 cm (2.4–4.7 in), the sweater achieves the perfect "oversized" look that is both comfortable and stylish.
The sweater in the picture is knitted in Melody color 28 and Kid-Silk color 42. I have knitted a size S
