The Lollipop beret is a great project for those who have never knitted in stockinette stitch before. It is quick to knit and doesn't require much yarn, so it can be knitted from leftovers. The Lollipop beret is also perfect as a gift for the little and big stars in your story.
'Lollipop beret' is knitted from the bottom up in one piece and is assembly-free. The beret is knitted in two-tone full patent with a ribbed edge and a pompom on top. It is no more difficult to knit in two-tone patent than in full color, as you only knit with one thread at a time, so let loose in fun color combinations.
